Fouad Ben Ahmed فؤاد بن أحمد

Fouad Ben Ahmed is an associate professor of philosophy and the methodology of research at al-Quarawiyine University- Dar el-Hadith el-Hassania, Rabat. He is an assessor in the Bureau of SIEPM, Leuven; and member of the bureau of SIHSPAI, Paris. He was a visiting scholar at Aix-Marseille University in 2019, at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2016, and at the University of Cologne in 2012. Among his recent publications are the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy entry on Ibn Rushd (co-authored with Robert Pasnau), and Ibn Ṭumlūs, Compendium on Logic (Brill, 2020). He is currently preparing a critical edition of Ibn Rushd’s al- Kashf ʿan Manāhij al-adilla.
